"Listening to this album is heartbreaking yet cathartic. Stage Four is about grief and loss, specifically in response to the death of lead singer Jeremy Bolm’s mother after having lung cancer. I recently came back to this album, not only because it’s nostalgic but because it’s helped me deal with my own grief and loss this year."
